A full-time (40 hours/week) lab technician position is available immediately in Dr. Roberto Vincis' laboratory in the Department of Biological Science and Program in Neuroscience at Florida State University. Our research focuses on the neural mechanisms underlying taste, flavor, and feeding behavior. We use a combination of genetic, optogenetic, chemogenetic, electrophysiological, optical imaging, and behavioral techniques in mice to explore how the brain processes the sensory and rewarding features of food and uses them to guide eating decisions.
