Create with Code Summer Camp

Office of STEM Teaching Activities



Create with Code! is a week-long, half-day summer camp designed for Florida high-school students interested in science and programming. This program will introduce students to coding in Python and explore data visualization & machine learning. No programming experience required!


Eligibility:
The program is designed for Florida students entering 9th –12th grade in September 2023.
To be considered for acceptance, applicants must:

  • Be able to commit to the entirety of the program.
  • Maintain a permanent residence in the State of Florida


Important Dates for 2023:

  • May 5: Application deadline
  • May 15: Emails with admissions decisions will be sent on or before this date


2023 Camp Dates:
This one-week camp will be offered various times this summer. The content will be the same each week. We will pick the times based on which works best for the majority of the applicants!

   WEEK 1

  • Tuesday 5/30 - Friday 6/2 MORNING (8:30 - 12:30, 4 hours/day)
  • OR
  • Tuesday 5/30 - Friday 6/2 AFTERNOON (1:00 - 5:00, 4 hours/day)

   WEEK 2

  • Monday 6/5 - Friday 6/9 MORNING (9:00 - 12:00, 3 hours/day)
  • OR
  • Monday 6/5 - Friday 6/9 AFTERNOON (2:00 - 5:00, 3 hours/day)
