Projects/Services for Biology Faculty
Proteaceae.net allows selected researchers and photographers to archive various families of plants, shrubs, and trees while classifying their associated genus and specific epithet. I worked closely with the pioneer of proteaceae.net, Dr. Austin Mast throughout the course of this project. My contribution to proteaceae.net includes, but is not limited to, the designing and creating of the database schema, and all the back-end programming used to store and classify the images in the database via web forms.
Southernmatters.com primarily showcases, promotes, and shares information about low-impact, small-scale agriculture and dooryard food production in the context of present and past condition. I worked with Dr. Bill Outlaw on incorporating three calculators to his site southernmatters.com.
Currently I provide web hosting services for Dr. Matthew J. Aresco's lakejacksonturtles.org through my reseller hosting company Source H.
