Students working off campus in areas related to the life sciences or the allied health professions can receive credit for this activity, and get it on their transcript, by registering for BSC 4941 – Internship in Biological Science. A maximum of 4 hours of BSC 4941 can be applied toward the elective hours for the Biological Science degree. If you do two consecutive semesters of internship at the same site it may count as one of your required upper division labs for the major but you have to have approval of the Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies for this substitution. To sign up for an internship go to the advising office and get an internship form.
