A = curricular group(s) to which authors belong (Note that these curricular groups no longer reflect the administrative organization of the department; we keep track for statistical purposes only.)

Unless otherwise indicated, an author of each paper is a faculty member. the following codes identify other members of the department, in cases where no author is a faculty member: bookau = an authored volume
booked = an edited multiauthor volume
brev = a book review
correction = published correction to a previous publication
chap = a book chapter
disc = published discussion
edit = editorial material
edmat = editorial material (e.g., preface, foreword) inv = an invited publication
letter = published letter
note = published note
pop = popular (i.e., nonscientific) publication
revp = a review paper
