2001 in the FSU Biological Science History project

2001 In the Department of Biological Science at Florida State University (updated 18 Feb 05)

In February of 2001, Boaz Vaadia, the artist who created the sculpture of "Zadok and Shim'on" that stands on the lawn between Conradi Building Strozier Library, visited Florida State University. Members of Biological Science invited him to visit the department, and because the date on which he could come, February 12, was coincidentally Charles Darwin's birthday, he joined us for the annual birthday party before leading a walking lecture tour of the three pieces of his work displayed on campus.
