Biological Science Professor A. Gib DeBusk spent two semesters at Australian National University, Canberra, having received one of the four inaugural "Faculty Development Program" Leaves (sabbaticals) from FSU.

FSU's new Edward Ball Marine Laboratory, at Turkey Point, was dedicated on November 20.
