Whitewater Boating

Whitewater boating is one of my passions. I do it in canoe, raft, and cataraft, but I don't like whitewater kayaks, too confining. I'll take a touring kayak on the ocean though. I've got all my own equipment and have been boating for over thirty years. I even take my canoes on the flat water rivers and swamps down here in South Georgia and North Florida where I now live. But every summer I try to return to the Mountain West for the wilderness rivers that are my true reality!

Don't miss the imbedded links to my trips in Florida's Everglades, in Georgia's Okefenokee, on the Buffalo National River in Arkansas' Ozarks Mountains, on the Lodore and the Yampa in Dinosaur National Park (CO/UT), and the Desolation/Gray stretches of Utah's Green River, and the biggies -- the Middle Fork and Main Salmon Rivers of the River of No Return Wilderness (ID), and the Grand Canyon of the Colorado (AZ)!
