NimbleGen 4-bay Hybridization Station: Designed to provide optimal hybridization on high-density arrays fabricated by NimbleGen. The NimbleGen hybridization station uses a mixer for uniform distribution of sample across the array.
Molecular Devices Genepix 4000B Scanner: 5 um resolution scanning capability, 635 nm and 532 nm dual laser excitation wavelengths (compatible dyes include Cy3, Cy5, and Alexas 555, 647, and 660), barcode reading capacity, and accompanying fluorescent feature analysis software (GenePix Pro 6.0).
Packard BioScience Scanarray 5000xl: 5 um resolution scanning capability, 3 internal and 2 external lasers allow the scanning of virtually any fluorophore.
The FSU-NimbleGen Microarray Facility is located in room 2031A King Life Science Building, and is run by Steve Miller. Steve's phone number is (850) 644-8956 or (850) 644-3601. The facility is generally open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
