Admission
Requirements
  • GPA of 3.0, or better, on all upper division work.

  • Minimum of 1100 on the GRE (total of verbal and quantitative sections only)
    500 or greater on verbal section
    500 or greater on quantitative section
    Subject test is not required
    Note: The Department only accepts the GRE exam when considering admission.

  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. Copies of transcripts are to be up-loaded into the AY application system under Supporting Documents.

  • Three letters of recommendation are to be up-loaded into the AY application system by the individuals who will be submitting letters.

  • Statement of research interest (300 words or less) are to be up-loaded into the AY application system under Supporting Documents.

  • TOEFL Exam Minimum Score (International Students Only):
    600 on the paper-based exam
    92 on the internet-based exam
