How to install JMP on Window and MacOS

Windows:

  1. Download JMP Pro for Windows.
  2. Go to the download location and extract the contents of JMP15ProWindows.zip.
  3. After extracting it, open the folder Jmp15Pro, open the folder JMP, and then run setup.exe.
  4. The installer will take a minute to initialize, once it has, click Next.
  5. Choose an installation directory or leave it as the default. Click Next.
  6. Choose the version of JMP you want installed. For 64-bit operating systems we reccomend 64-bit JMP. You can also select language support on this screen if you prefer a language other than English. Click Next.
  7. Click Install to begin the installation, this will take a few minutes to complete. Once it is done installing, click Finish to exit the installer.

  8. Now you have to install a current license for JMP to run. Download the License (right click the links and select "Save Link As...")
  9. Start JMP. It will open a dialogue box stating that your license has expired. Click the "Open License" button in the bottom right hand corner to install the new license. Navigate to where you downloaded the license file and select it.
  10. JMP is now installed.

Installing JMP on a MAC

  1. Download JMP Pro for Mac.
  2. Once it finishes downloading mount JMP15ProMac.zip and then double click JMP Pro 15.pkg. (If you are running OSX 10.8 or newer you will have to allow applications downloaded from anywhere in the security options before doing this)
  3. Press Continue.
  4. On the installation Type screen select any additional language files you desire, then click Install.
  5. Select the location you'd like to install it in or leave it on the default. Press Install and type in an administrator's username and password if prompted.
  6. The first time you open JMP install the current license for it to run. Download the license by option clicking on the link. License
  7. Start JMP. It will open a dialogue box stating that your license has expired. Click the "Open License" button in the bottom right hand corner to install the new license. Navigate to where you downloaded the license file and select it.
  8. JMP is now installed.
