Thursday, July 9, 7:00 pm, FSU Coastal and Marine Laboratory Auditorium—FSUCML CONSERVATION LECTURE SERIES, "Whooping crane restoration project," Terry Peacock, Refuge Manager, Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge, St. Marks, FL.

Sunday, July 12, 6:00 pm, FSU Coastal and Marine Laboratory Auditorium—FSUCML WORKSHOP, "Exploring nature: evening at the edge of the sea with Dr. Heidi Geisz," Dr. Heidi Geisz, FSU Coastal and Marine Laboratory. A hands-on introduction to gulf Coast ecology, with visit to the touch tanks and nature walk at the water's edge (bring your wading shoes) as well as lecture and discussion. Workshop repeats on Wed. June 17, Sun. July 12, Wed. July 15, and Sat. Aug 1. Registration for each session closes one week before the session. Price: $40 adult, $30 student.
